What we have in social class?

We have see that the prehistoric ends when you discover the writing, not in all civilizations where writing was the same.

The invention of writing:

-Writing appeared 5,000 years ago

-It is important because, signaled the end of prehistory and early history

-Writing was a way to store information

The first civilizations:

• Mesopotamia: the Tigris and Euphrates
• Egypt: the great river Nile
• India: Indus River
• China: the Yellow River (Huang He) and Blue River (Yangtze)

In river civilizations:

1. The king was the most powerful person.He made laws, led the army and often had religious functions. A privileged minority owned most of the land and wealth, and had important positions in public institutions. Most of the population was much poorer.
2. There were no major construction.The kings built palaces, temples, tombs and channels
